Fire in Darjeeling Market, 5 shops gutted

Darjeeling : At least five shops and a lodge were gutted in a fire that broke out at Chakbazar locality of Darjeeling town Yesterday, police and fire brigade sources said. The fire that originated from a saloon also damaged a bank. Two fire tenders were fighting the blaze which was yet to be controlled, the sources said.
