Coming from a family of directors and filmmakers, the evergreen actor Tripti Nadkar made her first television appearance at the age of two. Her innocence pours through in her adverts for Nirma washing powder, gripe water, Zandu Pachan Shakti and more. From ad films it was modeling and documentaries and ultimately the glittering world of Cinema. She made her first film debut by starring in a Marathi movie when she was 10 and entered the Nepali movie scene when she was 15, with the timeless Nepali hit movie like Kusume Rumal and conquered many hearts.
Tripti proved to be no ordinary actress. At only 16 years of age, she had two blockbusters already, a huge fan following, recognition and money. Since then there has been no looking back for Tripti Nadkar. At her peak, she was everyone's favourite actress. She made many hearts cry and jump with joy through her acting in the movie. The actress was the right combination of vulnerability, youth, beauty and she had bundles of talent. And she consistently projected all that in all her movies like Samjhana, Koseli and Lahure to just name a few. She made acting so effortless and many think that Tulsi Ghimire should be credited for her success and that she delivered her best while working with the director.
The director-Actor duo made many hit movies together. She was last seen in Koseli, in 1988, after which she decided to take a long break from her acting career which was at the hilt of name and fame to become a full time wife and mother. 17 years later, she came back in the limelight to relive her passion for cinema. Even a long hiatus from the Nepali movie industry did nothing to hamper her popularity, and now she's back with more projects and even a fashion photoshoot! She is more in demand than ever before. Everyone seems to be receptive of her comeback. Even after all these years, she still manages to look ever so beautiful with her long mane, glittering eyes and intoxicating giggles which exactly explains as to why she is rightly known to be the evergreen actress of Nepali film industry.
