Sikkim finally presents an actress to the world of Bollywood film industry which comprises of Katrina kaif, Aishwarya Rai and Kareena/Sonam Kapoor. A promising actor from Sikkim – Geetanjali Thapa. A model turned actor Geetanjali Thapa has already made her mark by winning award for the best actress for the movie named ‘I.D.’ just a few days ago during a film festival in Madrid, Spain. This movie will be released in both hindi and english version. The movie ‘I.D.’ revolves around Charu, a character played by Geetanjali Thapa. The movie has already won many awards both nationally and internationally and is making rounds across the world to represent Asia.
The movie will be released publicly in India soon. Geetanjali has also completed upcoming hindi movie ‘ Monsoon Shootout ‘ produced by well-known producers Guneet Monga and Anurag Kashyap who are the makers of a superhit hindi movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also featuring in ‘Monsoon Shootout’. She is also working in a hindi movie ‘Liar’s Dice’ in a lead role which is under production.
