2 Post of Computer Operator in Social Justice Empowerment & Welfare Department, Sikkim
Applications are invited from Local candidates to fill up 2 (Two) post of Computer Operator in Social Justice Empowerment & Welfare Department under the Sikkim State Sub- ordinate Information Technology Service Recruitment Rules 2005 under the pay band-1 Rs 5200-20200 and grade pay Rs. 3000/- plus other allowances admissible under the Sikkim Government Service Rules. The date of the written examination is fixed on 30th September 2013 at the Administrative & Accounts Training Institute, Sonam Tshering Marg, Gangtok.

Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility need only apply.
- A Class X Examination passed with 3 years Diploma in Engineering (with Computer or Information Technology as one of the subjects in atleast two semesters) or Senior Secondary (Class XII) Examination passed or equivalent from recognized board with one Year Diploma in Computer Applications from a reputed institute and Computer Concept Certificate (CCC) completion from DOEACC.
- Must be able to converse in one of the languages viz. Nepali, Bhutia. Lepcha or Limboo and must have the knowledge of culture and tradition of Sikkim.
- Sikkim Subject/ Certificate of Identification as the case may be.
- Schedule Tribe Certificate as the case may be.
- Valid Employment Card in case of un-employed Candidate.
- Age limit 18-30 years as on 1st October 2013. In case of OBC 3 year age relaxation, 5(five) years age relaxation in case of SC/ST candidates and 5 (five) years age relaxation in case of in-service regular Government Servant. The upper age limit is relaxed up to 50 years in the case of Group and persons working under State Government /NHPC and other Central Government establishment or undertakings in the State of Sikkim on MR/Adhoc/Substitute/Contract/Work Charge basis. In- Service candidate should apply through proper channel.
- Unmarried Certificate and Husband COI as the case may be.
Application should be accompanied by attested copies of school certificate or testimonial along with Birth Certificate or Class X Certificate containing the Date of Birth of the applicant, address of candidate for communications and contact numbers. Eligible candidates will be issued a calling letter for written test.
No TA/DA is admissible for attending written examination & interview.
